Our Process


Project Management:

From the project inception to completion, a project manager will work with your team to help determine and clarify your requirements in addition to any constraints to the project. We learn your manufacturing process so that we ensure to make informed decisions during concept development and design.

Mechanical Engineering:

Our engineering team uses Solidworks design software to create the concept. This enables the customer to visualize the solution. Design reviews ensure that we meet the customer’s expectation prior to starting the manufacturing process.

Robot Programming:
During the design stage, the robot programmer develops RoboGuide studies to ensure that the desired cycle times can be achieved with the customer’s specific work cell configuration, space limitations and exact payloads.

Controls Engineering:
DevLinks Controls Engineering Services utilize extensive experience in a wide range of industries and technologies to provide the best electrical, pneumatic & hydraulic solutions for any automation challenge. By utilizing industry standard IEC and NEMA components, NFPA wiring practices and Risk Assessment Analysis we provide solutions that prioritize safety and ease of use. PLC/PAC and HMI code is written using IEC 61131 programming standards to simplify and streamline end user troubleshooting. All control system designs are fully documented in AutoCAD Electrical project format.



Support and Diagnostics:
DevLinks stands behind its work. We offer a one-year warranty on any system installed. Many of our controls packages have remote web-based access that allows monitoring and troubleshooting of our systems without the delay of having to physically be at your location. Additionally, our field service technician will visit your factory if you experience any problems with our automation system after installation.


Installation:
DevLinks makes every effort to ensure that installation runs as smooth as possible. Our controls engineer will design a relay isolated I/O handshake between existing equipment and DevLinks new equipment.


Documentation:
DevLinks provides a complete documentation package including:

  • Spare Part Lists
  • Electrical and Pneumatic Schematics
  • Mechanical Assembly Drawings
  • Operating Instructions (upon request)
