Electrical Controls & Programs Engineer - Posted 11/9/18

DevLinks LTD is searching for an electrical controls engineer with experience programming, designing and troubleshooting assemblies, test systems and robotics systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Standard Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday to Friday (some overtime available)

Salary Range: Negotiable, based on experience level

Responsibilities:

  • Design and program robotic and assembly systems along with their components/ accessories.
  • Debug all systems and follow through with final performance testing.
  • Manage Control Panel wirer & train service persons on machine operation.
  • Must be able to work on multiple projects during different phases of their build.
  • Provide information for machine documentation (e.g. creating BOMs).
  • Maintain a safe, clean working environment and follow safe working practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of Electrical Engineer experience.
  • 10+ years of Automation experience.
  • 10+ years of Programming experience.
  • Ability to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Good interpersonal skills.

Skills:

  • Experience in programming for the packaging industry and automation equipment.
  • Proficient in PLC and HMI programming/troubleshooting knowledge for packaging.
  • Experience with Allen Bradley Software (RSLogix5000), AutoCad Electrical, Kinetix motion control products.
  • Designing and programming safety circuits
  • Design electrical schematics and drawings for wiring
  • Ability to adhere to UL specifications
  • Troubleshooting knowledge with electrical components and wiring.
  • Familiar with 24 VDC, 120/240/480 VAC.
  • 5-15% Field service and/or start up.

Experienced Machine Builder - Posted 10/25/18

DevLinks is looking for a Machine Builder to assemble, debug and install entire machines and/or systems in a timely manner and meet customer requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Standard Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday to Friday (some overtime available)

Salary Range: Negotiable, based on experience level

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble all aspects of a machine or multi-system from drawings and/or verbal instructions.
  • Fabricate critical machine components as required.
  • Work with electrical personnel concerning electrical and programming issues.
  • Use knowledge of pneumatic functions, devices and fittings, to achieve desired results.
  • Adjust cam timing, rotary positions (i.e. indexing units) as necessary.
  • Perform machine parts and assembly modifications as required, working with engineering when changes are major or of a critical nature.
  • Record changes to machine parts and assemblies on engineering drawings.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics
  • Debug machine with engineering, as necessary.
  • Perform in-house acceptance run-off.
  • Provide information for machine technical documentation.
  • Maintain a safe, clean working environment and follow safe working practices.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in a safe, clean and orderly fashion.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalency.

Experience:

  • 1-year minimum experience in machine building.
  • Journeyman tool maker or equivalent skills.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Good interpersonal skills.

Equipment:

Must be knowledgeable in the proper use and selection of tools and equipment such as:

  • Inspection and measurement tools such as vernier, caliper, and scales, etc.
  • Hand tools such as a variety of wrenches, pliers, saws, power drills, etc.
  • Machinery such as milling machine, surface grinders, lathe, etc.
  • Basic P/C Skills including Excel, Word, Outlook
  • PLC Knowledge

Physical Demands:

  • The employee may be required to stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to the floor.
  • Exert up to 75 pounds of force occasionally, and/or exert up to 25 pounds of force frequently.
  • Visual Acuity – Normal requirements for reading written instructions and computer screens.
  • Hearing Ability – Normal requirements for understanding verbal instructions
  • Working Conditions – The employee is subject to exposure to high noise levels and/or physical hazards when working on the manufacturing floor.
